badGateway

readonly badGateway: 502 = 502

The upstream or the chain lookup failed.

bodyTooLarge

readonly bodyTooLarge: 413 = 413

The request body exceeds the gateway's cap.

conflict

readonly conflict: 409 = 409

A single-use consume conflicts: see GatewayConflictCode.

denied

readonly denied: 403 = 403

The proof was refused (bad signature, expired nonce, no usable pass, gate paused, no consume).

gatewayTimeout

readonly gatewayTimeout: 504 = 504

The upstream did not answer in time.

loopDetected

readonly loopDetected: 508 = 508

The request already carries this gateway's Via marker: it looped back through the gateway.

methodNotAllowed

readonly methodNotAllowed: 405 = 405

The method is not forwarded (or not allowed on a public path).

missingProof

readonly missingProof: 401 = 401

No access proof on a gated path.

rateLimited

readonly rateLimited: 429 = 429

stateUnavailable

readonly stateUnavailable: 503 = 503

The gateway's own state store is unavailable (never reported as a conflict).
